Bb Pilipinas 2012
No, this isn’t going to be me gushing about how beautiful the recently concluded beauty pageant because I didn’t see it. Not because I’m not interested but because…
I didn’t know it was on tonight…
…until twitter started hashtagging #BbPilipinas2012 and fb started flooding update with contestant numbers in them (which is also like hashtagging, really).
But I still went on to read random manga online instead of turning on the TV to catch up. Prolly coz I no longer know how to turn TV’s on… or I’m just lazy. I even watched X-Men: First Class again and got pissed (again) over Darwin’s dying in the film. I like watching beauty pageants but being in front of the computer (connected to the internet) is way more entertaining.
Too bad, I read(courtesy of fb and twitter) there were a quite a few quirky answers in the Q/A portion. “Peripheral hearing”, what’s that again? XD
Oh, and congratulations to contestant #18 for winning Bb Pilipinas-Universe! Twitter and fb still get credit for that information reaching me. :)

Pixie Lott, Blue October
Recent discoveries of mine. Found Pixie Lott through her Dancing on My Own feat GDTop. Her songs are pretty good, I found out after obsessing on that track. :)
I’ve known Blue October’s Into the Deep for quite sometime but it was only recently that I really checked them out. Their songs have some sort of calming effect on me.

We all have those times when we’re feeling down and insecure. I guess right now’s one of those times.
“I think I’m ugly”, the chorus goes. Frankly, that’s the only part of the song I understood… but it suffices in describing the feelings I have in this very moment.
I want to bore a hole in my chest and tear my heart into a thousand pieces with my own hands.
… but of course I wouldn’t do that. I still have my sanity to count on. I’m not that emo.
